„Two Women and the Dog” is an exhibition presenting works by Małgorzata Dajewska, Marzena Krzemińska-Baluch and Mariusz Łabiński, eponymous Dog – the artists associated with the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. They share work and passion, which in glass. Glass treatment is hard, it is a demanding and uncompromising material that constantly confronts the artist who try to tame it with more and more challenges, and this is why it is extremely satisfying. Dajewska, Krzemińska and Łabiński deal mostly with cold-worked glass, namely optic and sodium glass, which is cut, glued, ground, polished and sandblasted. Their works prove that they are all convinced that less is more, that austerity of forms may signify the variety of emotions, feelings and impressions. Despite common features of their artistic output, they remain individual creators who leave personal marks within their works.
