Porcelain is the material which is extremely difficult to work with. It is demanding, fragile and fickle. On the other hand, it is also elegant, delicate and full of charm – a bit like a woman. Maybe that is why women know how to bring out the best of it?

Kina Górska, Natalia Gruszecka and Barbara Śniegula are three young ceramics designers, graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, founders of the NADO art gallery and ceramics studio in Wroclaw. They have been united by common passion and the sense of aesthetics. Today each of the Artists creates under her own brand. Their projects offer a fresh look at a traditionally understood object, functionality with a touch of spice, and feminine subtlety in the creation of the elements of our daily life.

The exhibition at the Lipowa 3 Gallery includes both the works that are the most typical for the Artists and completely new objects. They are the result of the search for the perfect balance between form and function. And, most importantly, they make even an ordinary morning coffee a kind of (un)usual experience.

Kina Gorska

Graduate of the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw (2010), ceramics designer. She currently lives and works in Oxford, where she runs a utility porcelain studio, Kina Ceramic Design.

Natalia Gruszecka

Ceramics designer, graduate of the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw (2011). Since 2012, along with Jakub Kwarciński, she has been running ENDE Ceramics Studio.

Barbara Śniegula

Art historian, utility and unique porcelain designer. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw (2010). Instructor and organizer of ceramics classes for children and adults. Her designs bear the brand name of Barceramics.
